Do słabszych momentów płyty należą ozdobione dęciakami, jazzujące “I Can’t Wait to Meetchu”, w którym Gray rzucając pojedyncze słowa kładzie refren; oraz spokojne, wiejące nudą “A Moment to Myself”. Podrygująca dziś na obrzeżach drugiej ligi muzycznych gwiazd amerykańska wokalistka Macy Gray zaliczyła pod koniec lat 90. debiut, który trafił do mnie dopiero wtedy, gdy uważniej się w niego słuchałam. “On How Life Is” właśnie do takiej grupy płyt należy – wymagających chwili uwagi.
